Wild Roses Framed!

I think it turned out great!

Please see linen/fiber details on my February 2 post.

Have really enjoyed seeing the pictures that are coming out from the needlework show in Nashville. Have you seen any "must-haves"?

Enjoy your weekend!

Needleworker's Sampler

I was ecstatic to receive my framed Needleworker's Sampler when I visited Stitchville yesterday. Love it!

Needleworker's Sampler
With Thy Needle and Thread
40 count Sandcastle
Recommended fibers

So now, you're probably wondering what projects I'm working on next. I didn't need to start anything new, because I have plenty of WIPs and UFOs that could be finished, but that would be too logical for me, sooooo.......

I joined the band of Snooty Parrot stitchers and made a bit of start on that piece...

And, I decided to start Crown Sampler from Plum Street Samplers...

Yep, no shortage of things to stitch around here!

Where Did January Go?

I'm sorry for not posting more often. I've been stitching, but just haven't taken the time to write any updates on my blog. I hope to have a finish for you soon! As you can see, this project is almost finished...

I promise to iron before I post the finish! Need to stitch the buds on the bottom row of rose bushes and then personalize the piece with initials and a name at the top. This is a gift for my best friend from high school and she has been patiently waiting for me to finish it. The design is from Carriage House Samplings and it is called Wild Roses. Fingers crossed I will be able to finish this yet tonight.

There's no shortage of projects for me to work on next, but I succumbed to the excitement on Facebook and joined the Snooty Parrot Society. Many started stitching on January 1, but my supplies just arrived this past week. I will probably get started tomorrow while watching the Super Bowl.

I've got a pot of ham and bean soup cooking on the stove and it smells delicious. Life is good!
